With the rapid development of economy, Shijiazhuang anti-counterfeiting scratch card printing has been widely used in China. In this paper, combined with practical printing experience, the paper discusses the impact of paper performance on printing quality, such as paper smoothness, ink acceptance performance and other 12 important influence printing, in order to provide effective suggestions in the future paper manufacturing process.
Key words: Nanning printing; Nanning paper printing; paper performance
There are many kinds of paper, but its ultimate goal is to print pictures and texts. The paper printing performance plays an important role in the printing process, which is directly related to the printing quality and printing quality. The properties of paper mainly depend on the physical and chemical properties of the plant fiber and the pulping method. At the same time, paper and printing conditions and ink performance has a close relationship. This paper will analyze it in detail.
1、 Smoothness of paper
(1) The importance of smoothness in printing
Paper smoothness refers to the smoothness of paper surface, which is an important performance of paper printing. It has an important impact on the clarity of text and ink transfer, and it is the primary condition for paper to obtain the original printed matter.
On the other hand, when printing on the surface of the printing paper, the smoothness of the printing surface will be improved Due to the flatness factor, the paper surface can't contact with the printing plate evenly during imprinting, which causes uneven pressure and ink transfer amount everywhere, and the thickness of ink film is also inconsistent, which means that the meaning of printing is lost. The paper smoothness also affects the glossiness of the printing evaluation. The paper with high smoothness is conducive to the formation of a uniform and smooth ink film on the paper surface, and the luster of the printed matter is also improved.
(2) Methods and problems of paper smoothness compensation in printing
In the process of paper printing, the method of increasing printing pressure is usually used to alleviate the problem of false imprinting caused by uneven paper. However, it is mainly applied to printing products with low requirements for grade. Because the method will cause the printing dot to increase, the sense of hierarchy will also become worse, and the printing plate is mostly incompressible metal, if forced compression will aggravate the plate wear, the life will also decline. Therefore, the paper with high smoothness should be selected as far as possible in the paper printing process, so as to ensure that the fine level will not be lost.
The method of increasing the thickness of ink layer has proved that increasing the thickness of ink layer can also improve the color strength and sharpness of paper ink. However, the possibility of oil accumulation and dirty printing is also increased. As a result, the thickness of ink layer on the plate, the unevenness of printed matter and the permeability of printed matter are increased, resulting in poor dot quality.
2、 Influence of paper production process on smoothness
According to the different processes, they can be roughly divided into the following categories:
(1) Improving the beating degree of pulp can effectively provide paper smoothness;
(2) The types of pulp also have an important influence on smoothness. Mechanical wood pulp contains fiber bundles, and the paper made by mechanical wood pulp is rough, while that made by sulfite wood pulp and cotton pulp is relatively flat;
(3) The paper smoothness can be improved by the vibration device of the long wire machine;
(4) The paper machine copper wire form, namely wool form, also has an important influence on the paper smoothness;
(5) Increasing calendering and surface sizing can also improve the smoothness of paper;
A lot of practice has proved that the above paper technology can effectively improve the smoothness of the paper, so as to provide the quality, color and grade of paper printed matter, so as to achieve the original purpose, so as to effectively meet the requirements of customers for high-quality printed matter.
